Ester Wiesnerova (Slovakia/USA) and Julian Moreen (Germany) - a vocal-piano duo blending contemporary jazz and American folk with a distinct European touch.

Since meeting at Berklee College of Music they have performed over 50 concerts across Europe and the U.S., including appearances on national radio and TV. 

Their upcoming album, elsewhere…, features original songs inspired by the sounds and stories of various cities and explores the full expressive potential of their instruments through deep interaction, story telling and improvisation.

ESTER WIESNEROVA (Slovakia) is an award-winning jazz singer who has been hailed by Jazzwise as “an exciting new voice in European jazz: an artist of rare imagination and formidable arranging skills” for her debut album Blue Journal, which has been considered for Grammy nominations.

Now based in New York, she got included into Forbes Magazine “30 Under 30” list of Slovak personalities to watch out for and has performed at festivals worldwide, sharing the stage with artists such as Lionel Richie and Luciana Souza.

JULIAN MOREEN (Germany) is a pianist, singer and producer who has in recent years grown his reputation as a unique artist in jazz and pop, whether with his own music or in collaborations with European and Asian artists, such as Mandark (of Sweet John 甜約翰) and aDAN 薛詒丹.

He performs across the globe and has appeared at renowned festivals, among them JazzOpen Festival in Germany and Taichung Jazz Festival in Taiwan, sharing the stage with artists such as Jorjia Smith, Suzanne Vega, Celeste and Anna Maria Jopek.
